Office 2008 for Mac lacks feature parity with the Windows version. The lack of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) support in Excel makes it impossible to use macros programmed in VBA. Microsoft’s response is that adding VBA support in Xcode would have resulted in an additional two years added to the development cycle of Office 2008.[13] Other unsupported features include: OMML equations generated in Word 2007 for Windows,[14] Office ’Ribbon’, Mini Toolbar, Live Preview, and an extensive list of features are unsupported such as equivalent SharePoint integration with the Windows version. Some features are missing on Excel 2008 for Mac, including: data filters (Data Bars, Top 10, Color-based, Icon-based), structured references, Excel tables, Table styles, a sort feature allowing more than three columns at once and more than one filter on a sort.
Benchmarks suggest that the original release of Office 2008 runs slower on Macs with PowerPC processors, and does not provide a significant speed bump for Macs with Intel processors.[15]

Instead, the Windows user is told ’QuickTime and a TIFF (LZW) decompressor are needed to see this picture’. A user presented one solution as far back as December 2004.[20]
A further example of the lack of feature parity is the track changes function. Whereas users of Word 2003 or 2007 for Windows are able to choose freely between showing their changes in-line or as balloons in the right-hand margin,[21][22] choosing the former option in Word 2004 or Word 2008 for Mac OS also turns off all comment balloons; comments in this case are visible only in the Reviewing Pane or as popup boxes (i.e. upon mouseover).[23] This issue has not been resolved to date and is present in the latest version of Word for the Mac, namely Word 2011.[24]
The toolbox found in Office 2008 also has problems when the OS X feature Spaces is used: switching from one Space to another will cause elements of the Toolbox to get trapped on one Space until the Toolbox is closed and reopened. The only remedy for this problem is to currently disable Spaces, or at least refrain from using it whilst working in Office 2008.[25] Microsoft has acknowledged this problem and states that it is an architectural problem with the implementation of Spaces. Apple has been informed of the problem, according to Microsoft.[26] The problem appears to be caused by the fact that the Toolbox is Carbon-based.[citation needed] Using Microsoft Office with Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard solves some of the problems.[26]
In addition, there is no support for right to left and bidirectional languages (such as Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, etc.) in Office 2008,[27][28] making it impossible to read or edit a right to left document in Word 2008 or PowerPoint 2008. Languages such as Thai are similarly not supported, although installing fonts can sometimes allow documents written in these languages to be displayed.
Moreover, Office 2008 proofing tools support only a limited number of languages (Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, and Swiss German).[29] Proofing tools for other languages failed to find their way to the installation pack, and are not offered by Microsoft commercially in the form of separately sold language packs. At the same time, Office applications are not integrated with the proofing tools native to Mac OS X 10.6 Leopard.

After installation, you can either import data from an earlier version of Quicken (dragging and dropping the data file onto the Quicken icon in the Dock elegantly handles all import and categorization functions) or download a QIF (Quicken Interchange Format) file of your account history from your financial institution and import that file into Quicken.
You can then create budgets and add entries to your transaction history, all the while categorizing your transactions for budget analysis. Once your information is entered, budgeting tools allow you to display data from multiple categories as charts and graphs for visual analysis.
Quicken provides a friendly face to the task of setting up a stock portfolio. You enter data such as stock name, stock quote symbol, purchase date, purchase price, and number of shares owned; then prompt Quicken to actively track and follow your stocks. Similar types of accounts, like mutual funds, CDs, bonds, and 401k accounts can be set up in this way, with the program tracking data and reporting back with customizable histories. Quicken can retrieve and track stock data as far back as five years to determine trends and patterns, making research easy.
Although not entirely new, features such as iCal and .Mac integration make Quicken 2007 more useful. New voice acting recordings performed by John and Liliana. Added new graphic quality ’LOW’ in the dialog window. Fixed fall death. I just played a game up to day 130. Only one person got stuck. Resources are still the main issue as you just can’t finish the game without more metal or concrete. Tools and clothing run out by day 50. Love the game though, I bet in another month they will have it playable to the end of the tech tree at least. It’s honestly way too huge to summarize in any meaningful way, but here are the absolute biggest changes, and you’ll just have to dig into the changelog or the game itself for more detail. Many quality of life enhancements such as auto-pulp, autopickup, batch actions, interacting with adjacent items and improved long-action handling. As always, I made two new mini-scenes, mainly featuring the “smol” gang. You can them in the fox temple on the second (Ikko) island. This time both of them are about Momo and her cuteness. Both new mini-scenes are available closer to the end of the game, after you’ll unlock True Yorna’s lair. Small fixes and improvements.

There are one new mansion H scene and a new domination option with the akaname in this update. The first one is about some lewd fun with ropes. You can find it in the mansion’s basement – there’s a new guard before the room entrance. He will give you all the details.
The second new H scene features akaname on the second (Ikko) island, check out the mountain ridge before the desert zone. Both new scenes are located towards the end of the gallery.
Don’t forget, to get domination H events, you need to defeat enemies with lust magic like “Seduce” and “Lust Bolt” only. Any other offensive means will give you a regular victory. All other skills like buffs and heal are fine. Please note, not all enemies have domination scenes – you can check this in the gallery.

Mac’s acting career started with a role as a club doorman in the comedy Mo’ Money (1992) and also appeared as Pastor Clever in Friday (1995). Mac’s frequent appearances on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam in the early 1990s also helped put him on the map.
Mac’s edgy comedy seemed an unlikely fit for television, but after frequent appearances on the series Moesha and gaining wide acclaim for his starring role in Spike Lee’s The Original Kings of Comedy in 2000, Mac was primed to create a sitcom on his own terms.
Based on family experiences that shocked audiences into laughter in Kings, The Bernie Mac Show enjoyed a strong debut on Fox in 2001. The series ran through 2006 and starred Mac as a reluctant dad to three adopted kids. The show nabbed both Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.
Mac’s film career also took off. In 2001, he joined an all-star cast in Steven Soderbergh’s Ocean’s Eleven, playing a smooth con-artist who assisted co-stars George Clooney and Brad Pitt in high-profile heists.
In 2001, he also co-starred with Chris Rock in Head of State, then replaced Bill Murray’s Bosley in Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle (2003) and shared billing with John Ritter in director Billy Bob Thornton’s Bad Santa (2003).
In 2004, he took on his first starring role as an aging baseball hero in Mr. 3000 and then starred again in the race relations comedy Guess Who? (2005). Mac also reunited with the cast for the sequels Ocean’s Twelve (2004) and Ocean’s Thirteen (2007).
Besides his work in film and television Mac also authored two books, 2001’s I Ain’t Scared of You: Bernie Mac on How Life Is and his 2003 memoir, Maybe You Never Cry Again. The latter described Mac’s impoverished childhood, strict upbringing and his mother’s belief in him.
In 1977 at age 19, Mac married his high school sweetheart, Rhonda, whom he credits with much of his success, particularly as the young couple struggled through the early years of Mac’s fledgling career. They had a daughter, Je’Niece, and a granddaughter.

Hirst Repeats at Tyler Wolf Memorial
This is a really exciting part of the year. District play-offs are in the air. Our swim team is sending 3 divers forward, MP boys basketball won the WESCO league. Our MG/MP wrestlers both boys and girls are doing well as they head to regionals. MG boys and girls’ basketball teams are still positioning themselves for a district tournament run. By Bob Mortenson. The venue may have changed, but the mantra remains the same. The 4A Northwest District champion Snohomish Panthers go in to Saturday’s state meet at Pasco’s.admin
CHICO, CA (8-18-17) – Paradise driver Kyle Hirst thrilled not only the fans but himself Friday night at the Silver Dollar Speedway. Hirst passed Sean Becker for win coming out of turn for on the final lap. Hirst could be heard screaming and yelling in excitement as he rolled around the track for the next two laps. Then, in typical Hirst fashion, he parked the Roth Motorsports #83 in turn four to salute the bleacher crowd. The amount of electricity throughout the grandstands was something to behold. “I never saw the white flag and then when I came around and passed Sean for the win I saw the checkered flag and couldn’t believe it,” said Hirst. “This win is something I won’t forget for a long time.” Hirst pocketed $3,000 for the win and an extra $500 because he was the hard charger. Hirst started ninth.
Even in defeat Becker still took home $1500 for second and extra lap money accumulated by Elijah Jones put towards the top three during every lap of the main event. DJ Netto finished third, but, the youngster should be proud. He led a majority of the race and ultimately got beat by two of the best in the business. Netto also will receive extra lap money along with $1,000 third place money.
Andy Forsberg ran up in the top three for most of the night. Forsberg drifted a bit back into the fourth-place finish. Yet, his night was still profitable as he won the $500 Kyle Larson Racing fast time award bonus. Bud Kaeding got rolling near the end of the race and finished with a top five.
ART Ent. sponsored each heat race winner with an extra $100. Those winners included Mason Moore, Michael Kofoid and Mike Monahan. Eighteen drivers entered the 5th Annual Tyler Wolf Memorial.
Orland’s Tony Richards picked up his third win of the year during the wingless sprint car point season but most importantly, he won the championship in doing so. Richards won his seventh career driving championship. “I have to thank my crew and family,” said Richards. “It’s been a fun year and it feels good to win the championship.” Terry Schank Jr. tried to catch Richards but was never able to get close enough. Jeremy Wilson finished in the third spot. Craig Swim finished fourth but secured the second place in the point standings. Casey McClain won the lone heat race. McClain led the early portion of the main event but had a mechanical issue that sent him to the pits.
Cameron Haney earned his second main event win during the final winged economy sprint car point race of the season. In two starts, Haney has won both main events he entered. The real story is Mike Ficklin. The Paradise driver finished second in the race but captured the 2017 track championship. Ficklin picked up one win during his championship season. Mike Sayre finished third and should be commended for getting through a tough night. Earlier, Sayre participated in the memorial lap celebrating the life of his crew chief and best friend Paul Inman who was tragically killed in a car wreck near Oroville. Phil Marino picked up his sixth win in nine starts during the Street Stock feature event. Marino holds a comfortable point lead going into next Friday nights finale. Marino held off Danny Dozier to get the win. Fritz Zanker rebounded for a solid third place finish. Gary Newman and Richard Workman rounded out the top five. Corey Hall won the eight-lap heat race. Nick Vidovich had been on fire of late. Vidovich won his third main event of the year. He has now won five of the past five feature events for the Hobby Stock division. It wasn’t an easy win as Kyle Allen pressured Vidovich for the final five laps. Allen finished second and will head into next Friday night as the championship favorite. Jeremy Langenderfer held the lead for most of the race. Yet, a flat tire slowed his pace. He should be given a ton a credit. Instead of causing a yellow, he muscled his way through the final laps and still finished third. Vidovich won the eight-lap heat race.

Barry MacKay (August 31, 1935 – June 15, 2012) was an American tennis player, tournament director and broadcaster. He was ranked #1 in the U.S. in 1960.[2]
While competing in college for the University of Michigan, he won the Singles title of the 1957 NCAA Men’s Tennis Championship to clinch the team title for Michigan over Tulane 10 to 9, by defeating Sammy Giammalva in a 5 set Final. His teammates were: Mark Jaffe, Dick Potter, Jon Erickson, John Harris, Dale Jensen, and Dick Cohen. He was also a finalist in the 1957 NCAA Doubles competition with Dick Potter. He won 5 Big Ten Conference titles, 1956-57 (2) in singles and 1955-57 (3) in doubles.
He reached the Quarterfinals of Wimbledon in 1958 and 1960 and the Semifinals in 1959, and was a Doubles finalist at the U.S. Open in 1958, with Sam Giammalva. In 1959, when he reached the Singles Semifinals at the Australian Championships he lost to Alex Olmedo in 5 sets, and in the Semifinals at The Championships, Wimbledon he lost to Rod Laver in five sets. From there, he enrolled at the University of Michigan in 1953 along with Mark Jaffe and Dick Potter to form a strong team under tennis coach William E. ’Bill’ Murphy. Entering college Barry was ranked #16 in the Juniors, Mark Jaffe #10, and Dick Potter #20. Barry practiced often with Professor and ranked player Andy Paton, Jr, who made him a much better player. He won five Big Ten Conference Championships while at the University of Michigan — 2 Singles Championships in 1956 and 1957, and 3 Doubles Championships with partner, Dick Potter, in 1955, 1956, and 1957.[6]
In June 1957, MacKay won the Singles title at the NCAA Men’s Tennis Championship, defeating Sammy Giammalva of Texas in five sets at Salt Lake City. This win enabled the Michigan Wolverines to capture their first and only NCAA Team Championship over Tulane University, 10-9. He was the first Big Ten player to win the NCAA Singles Title, was runner-up for the Doubles Title with partner, Dick Potter, and was the first Michigan Tennis player to be named as an All-American.
MacKay played on five United States Davis Cup teams from 1956 to 1960, and in three final rounds. The 1958 Davis Cup team of Alex Olmedo, Ham Richardson, and Barry beat Australia for the Championship. In 1959, he beat Rod Laver 7-5,6-4,6-1 in the Davis Cup Finals at Forest Hills. He is the only American player to beat Laver in Davis Cup competition.
After winning the NCAA Singles Title in June 1957, MacKay played amateur tennis for three additional summers. In 1958, he reached the Quarterfinals of Wimbledon and the Finals of the U.S. Doubles Championships. In 1959, he lost to Alex Olmedo in five sets at the Australian Semifinals and at Wimbledon, he lost in the Semifinals to Rod Laver in 87 games over five sets. He also reached the Quarterfinals of the U.S. Championships losing to Bob Mark. In 1960, he was ranked as the No. 1 amateur in the U.S. after reaching the Quarterfinals of Wimbledon and the U.S. Championships, and winning 11 tournaments: Atlanta, Buffalo, Dallas, River Oaks, River Forest U.S. Clay Court Championships, Rome (Italian Championship), New York Indoors Nationals, Los Angeles Pacific Southwest, San Francisco Pacific Coast Tuscaloosa, and Victoria, Australia. In 1964, MacKay moved to California and worked for Jack Kramer on the Professional Tennis Tour. He remained with Kramer through 1966, when he moved to Sausalito, CA. In 1970, MacKay bought the controlling interest in the ATP Pacific Coast Championships in Berkeley, California, when he was ranked #9 in the U.S. He convinced banker Byron Leydecker to sponsor the tournament and it became the Redwood Bank Pacific Coast Open. In 1973, he started a company named BMK Sports, which operated his Major Tennis Event that became known as the SAP Open when he sold in 1995. Barry played his last tournament in Palm Beach, Florida in 1973. He was the first known as Mr. Wild Card for adding Jimmy Connors, John McEnroe and others to his tournament draw even though they did not qualify. He was influential in Bay Area tennis circles and contributed his time and money.
Barry’s closest friends were his agent, Donald Dell, tennis historian, Bud Collins, Stanford Tennis Coach, Dick Gould, sportswriter, Joel Drucker, and player/broadcaster, Brad Gilbert.Broadcasting career[edit]

He was the on-air voice for American broadcasts of the U.S. Open, Wimbledon, French Open, Australian Open, and many ATP and WTA tournaments. He also provided color commentary, play-by-play, and lead analysis for The Tennis Channel, DirecTV, and Versus. He spent 30 years with HBO broadcasting Wimbledon, and the US Open on USA Network. He provided color commentary on Fox Sports Network, and served as the play-by-play announcer for the NBC Sports coverage of tennis at the 2008 Summer Olympics in China.[8]Death[edit]

City rivals Decatur and Austin faced off Friday night at Ogle Stadium, and afterward, both sides shed tears.
Austin High senior running back Cortez Shackleford couldn’t help but bury his face into his hands, and teammate Cornelius Jenkins knelt to contain himself surrounded by teammates midfield.
For the Black Bears, tears of joy streamed down their cheeks as they beat their crosstown rival 17-14 for their first victory in the annual series since 2001.
Senior place-kicker Morgan Hull hit a 36-yard field goal with 3:05 left in the game for the winning margin, the last of 17 unanswered points for the winners.
’What better way to end your season than with a win in a huge rivalry game?’ Austin coach David Norwood asked. ’Coach (Jere) Adcock and their entire coaching staff, they had a great game plan. It just went our way this year, that’s all.’
In the season finale for both teams, Decatur and Austin each finished 4-6.
’We got ahead, but they didn’t give up, and I thought it said a lot for their kids and their coaching staff,’ Decatur coach Jere Adcock said. ’Both teams didn’t quit playing hard all night.’
Austin fumbled three times in the first quarter, two of which resulted in Decatur touchdowns to give the Red Raiders a 14-0 lead.
The Black Bears fumbled a punt return, giving the Red Raiders the ball on the 9-yard line three minutes into the game.
Three short runs by junior Nick Beasley later and Decatur scored the first points of the game on Beasley’s 2-yard touchdown.
Decatur found itself first-and-goal again when Austin fumbled on the 8-yard line with 2:55 to go in the first period.

Looking for a spark, Austin senior T.T. Martin’s 25-yard fumble return was the momentum swing the Black Bears were looking for, pulling Austin within 14-7 midway through the second and the score stood at halftime.

Sophomore Verkeneo Mann’s 21-yard touchdown catch from sophomore Justin Jones tied the score at 14-14 with 3:17 left in the third.
’I thought we had a good defensive game plan. We put them in the situations we wanted to put them in and they answered the bell,’ Adcock said.
Hull’s field goal in the fourth proved to be the game winner and gave a hyped Austin crowd reason to rush the field.
The win was particularly sweet for Hull and his senior teammates, who beat Decatur for the first time in their final try.
’I talked to the guys and told them, ’We’ve got to have this,’ ’ Hull said. ’We haven’t done this in the three years I’ve been here and this makes it. It really gives us a boost.’
Norwood said many of those seniors had one of their best games this season, including Chancelor, a senior linebacker.
